Have you ever slept in a zoo? Now’s your chance!
Spend a night at Banham Zoo, under the stars. You’ll be talking about it long after you’ve gone home.
Once the zoo closes, experience the zoo after dark with a special torch walk led by an expert keeper, before enjoying warming food and refreshments and settling down in your sleeping bag for the night.
Then, if you’re an early riser, after breakfast, you can join a morning tour to see the animals waking up.
It’s a night you won’t experience anywhere else, and by taking part you’ll raise vital funds for both Break and ZSEA Banham Zoo.
Your £30 registration includes your exclusive Big Zoo SnooZe travel mug and beanie. You’ll then pledge to raise at least £150 in sponsorship.l

The Big Zoo SnooZe is a unique overnight fundraising adventure at Banham Zoo, Norfolk. You will get the unique chance to sleep under the stars in the zoo grounds while raising money to support Break's work with children, young people and families across East Anglia.
The event is open to businesses, groups, friends and individuals. Sleeping outside in November is a challenge, so the event is for over 18’s only. It's a unique opportunity to stay the night in a zoo with all the sights and sounds that occur.
Participants will camp overnight in a designated outside area within Banham Zoo with overhead cover. You will need to bring your sleeping bag and campcot or mattress. Our team will be on hand throughout the evening and overnight to help make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience
We'll supply a kit list near the event but sleeping bag, warm clothing, mat and a torch are a necessity!
We will keep you well fed with evening food and breakfast. Alcohol is not permitted
We’ll send you a digital fundraising pack full of ideas to help you fundraise. It will include andsponsorship form as well as instructions on how to create an easy online fundraising link.
Most people find that by sharing their challenge with friends, family and colleagues they can reach their target pretty easily.
And our fundraising team are on hand for advice and encouragement whenever you need.
Your fundraising could go twice as far
Some employers offer match funding, meaning they’ll match the money you raise for charity, up to a set amount. So if you raise £100, your employer could add another £100, turning your fundraising into £200 for Break.
It’s worth checking whether your employer offers a match-funding scheme.
Every pound raised is split 50/50 to help Break support young people in, around and beyond care.
You will not camp inside an animal enclosure, but you will stay within the zoo grounds under a canopy. You're likely to hear nocturnal sounds. Enjoy a truly wild atmosphere that few people get to experience.

ZSEA Banham Zoo cares for hundreds of amazing animals - with giraffes, tigers, leopards, meerkats, penguins and more. Fundraising plays a vital role in supporting the care and well-being of all our animals and also contributes to our conservation initiatives and breeding programs, both locally and internationally.
