The Grand Norwich Duck Race is back, and it’s set to be a quacktastic day of family fun! Come and join in with a tradition that’s been part of Norwich life for over a decade.
Expect live music, tasty food, face painting, and plenty of games as we gather to watch the amazingly decorated ducks race to victory on the River Wensum.

Get involved with your very own duck!
Calling all local businesses, schools or community groups - you can decorate (or ‘duckorate’) your very own duck! Coming complete with acrylic paints, let your imagination swim away with you.
It’s a great way to promote your business or group to the hundreds of people that come and watch as the ducks race down the Wensum, while also supporting Break’s work with local children and young people in, around and leaving care.
Duck packages
£80 - Community Package: Schools and community groups can get their very own large duck to decorate, plus the opportunity for each pupil to take part in the Sheriff’s Duck Colouring Competition.
£150 - Corporate Package: Businesses and corporates can get a large duck and paints to decorate and enter the race, with tips from the Duckorator herself.
£300 - Deluxe Duckorated Package: Not feeling artistic or short on time? This package is for you - one of our artists will work with you to design and duckorate your duck. You’ll also get your business logo on the webpage and on promotional material such as flyers and posters.
All of the above include the option to hang your business banner on the race track. You can either provide this yourself, or we’ll print it for an additional charge.
