We kick things off in style with the grand Duck Parade on St George’s Street Bridge - your chance to see all the Duckorated ducks up close in one feathery, fabulous line-up before they take the plunge!
Plus, behind the Ribs of Beef, there’ll be:
Live Music from Barny Holmes: Enjoy some fantastic tunes while you soak up the atmosphere.
Fun and games for for all ages
- Face Painting
- Arts & Crafts
- Hook-a-Duck
- And more….!
BBQ & Refreshments: We’ll have tasty bites and cool drinks to keep you going.
The races
2:00 PM – Large Duck Race
Watch as the giant ducks race from Fye Bridge to St George’s St. Bridge, all vying for the prestigious Crystal Duck Trophy!
2:30 PM – Duckling Raffle Race
Thousands of little yellow ducks take to the river - will yours be one of the lucky winners and
- Online raffle entries close Saturday 17th at 5:00 PM
- On-the-day tickets available until 2:45 PM
- Winners announced Monday 19 May
Now's you're chance to be part of the Grand Norwich Duck Race with you're very own adorable little duckling! Watch them race to glory on 18 May 2025 - all while making a huge splash for a great cause.
For just £2 you’ll be entered into our raffle and will be assigned a randomly selected, numbered little yellow duckling ready to paddle for victory. The first ten across the finish line will be in with the chance to win one of these fantastic prizes:
- 1st Prize – Overnight stay at Maids Head Hotel, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and a Bentley trip (worth £180).
- 2nd Prize – £25 food and drink voucher for Harry's Soul Station.
- 3rd Prize – Thursford tickets for two (worth £46).
- 4th–10th Prizes – Luxury hampers and more!
