A towering sculpture trail for spring 2024

Welcome to Cambridge Standing Tall

21 March - 2 June

From the 21 March, Cambridge will be playing host to the gentle giants of the African plains, with 31 beautifully decorated giraffe sculptures galloping onto the city’s streets! Alongside them will be over 60 Mini Gs, each created by local schools and community groups.

This towering sculpture trail will bring together communities from all corners of the city, and encourage them to look up at the spectacular art on offer while supporting Break, a charity working in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire to raise aspirations of the county’s young care leavers.

We hope as you gaze up at the giraffes you see them as we do - a representation of Break, standing tall for young people with care experience and telling them that the sky is never the limit.

Browse through the website to find more about the trail, if you’d like to be the first in the know, don’t forget to sign up to our newsletter, 'The Telegiraffe'.
