Break celebrates regional award win and national recognition

14 Sep 2026

It has been an exciting few weeks for Break, with recognition for both our Marketing and Communications Team and the wider charity at regional and national awards.

We are delighted to share that our Marketing and Communications Team has won Non-Profit Marketing Team of the Year at the East Anglian Marketing Awards.

The awards celebrate the creativity, innovation and impact of marketing teams and organisations across the region, shining a spotlight on the people and campaigns making a difference in East Anglia.

It was a proud moment for the team, who support every area of Break's work, from fundraising and fostering recruitment to our shops, children's homes and campaigns. Over the past year this has included helping deliver the hugely successful GoGoSafari trail, refreshing Break's brand and values, and finding new ways to share the stories and achievements of the young people we support.

Neil Park, Head of Marketing and Communications, said:

"I'm so proud that the Break Marketing and Communications Team picked up Non-Profit Marketing Team of the Year at the East Anglian Marketing Awards.

"One of the things I love about this job is the variety. Where else can conversations about decorated ducks and giant lion sculptures sit alongside recruiting foster carers, attracting great colleagues and helping raise vital income for young people growing up in and around care?

"This award belongs to a talented team who care deeply about their work and the difference it makes. I'm lucky to work with them every day."

The celebrations don't stop there. We are also incredibly proud to have been named a finalist in the Children and Young People's Charity category at this year's CYP Now Awards. This national award recognises charities making an outstanding contribution to improving the lives of children, young people and their families.

We're honoured to be shortlisted alongside organisations from across the UK who are helping children and young people thrive.
