Training

Break has a long history of delivering and commissioning high-quality training designed to meet the development needs of those working in the care sector - from newly-appointed staff who are still learning through to professionals with a wealth of experience.

About training with Break

We believe that well informed and trained staff can enhance the quality of care, and by focusing on relationships whilst developing the ability to reflect and role model through their practice, young people can feel safe and understood.

We cover a broad range of training which includes management skills, working safely with care-experienced young people, being trauma-informed, team building, communication and much more including bespoke courses.

As a general guide, each day of training is £80. For courses on Management and Leadership, training is £100 per day.

Our training brochure includes information on the courses we provide. Please check the training events page to see more details on dates of current courses.

If you have any questions the training team are always happy to help. We are also able to offer our venue at the Break offices in Norwich to external training providers. Please get in touch with the team if you have any questions.

"The course has given me a huge confidence boost not only personally, but also professionally from being able to go back to my team and deliver new ideas."

Thank you for choosing to develop your skills with Break. As a charity, the proceeds from our training fees help to increase training opportunities for Break's staff, therefore benefiting the families and young people we care for.
