GoGoSafari needs you this summer!

7 Feb 2025

Get ready to go wild this summer because GoGoSafari is coming to Norwich and Norfolk from 23rd June to 30th August. But this ten-week adventure needs some Trail Rangers to help bring it to life!

This unmissable trail will feature around 50 beautifully decorated sculptures of gorillas, rhinos, giraffes, lions, and elephants, and the Trail Ranger volunteers play a key role in making sure the trail is a hit with trailgoers.

Supported local business Stevensons, the volunteer programme has a variety of roles suitable for any ability. It could be helping at the Safari Hub at The Forum making sure visitors have a fantastic experience, or it could be keeping the sculptures looking their best, or assisting with pop-up events. There’s even the opportunity to get behind the scenes and be hands-on with preparation and the set-up of the trail. There’s no set commitment, and roles can work around anyone’s availability!

"We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about making a difference and want help bring this spectacular trail to life."

"We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing GoGoSafari to Norwich this summer,” comments Senior Partnership and Project Manager Peter Marron. “But to make GoGoSafari a reality, we rely on the incredible support of our volunteers. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about making a difference and want help bring this spectacular trail to life. Whether you have a few hours or a few days to spare, your support is essential to ensuring the success of this event, and ultimately, the positive impact it will have on the young people from care that Break supports.”

Local businesses are also encouraged to get involved and take advantage of a fantastic opportunity for any business to engage their team, support a local charity, and have fun while making a difference. There’s even the opportunity for a corporate take-over day for any businesses or organisation interested.
