GoGoDiscover 2022 Auction

Join us, with your paddles at the ready, to take home your very own GoGoDiscover sculpture.
After 10 weeks of entertaining more than half a million people across Norfolk and Norwich, many of the T.rex and Steppe Mammoth sculptures are looking for new homes.
Whether you’re placing your bid from the comfort of your home via our online auction site, or holding a paddle up high at Norwich Cathedral in person on the night, you’ll not only capture a spectacular sculpture for your home, garden or business, but will also help to stamp out the mammoth expectations of young adults as they leave care.
The hammer will fall for 39 T.rex and 17 Steppe Mammoth sculptures on the evening. All 58 have a story tell with artists across the UK making their creative mark on the design, the whole trail made possible by the generous sponsorship of local businesses.
The auction will be hosted by acclaimed auctioneer Charles Hanson and Natasha Raskin Sharp. You’ll recognise both from TV shows Bargain Hunt, Flog it! and Antiques Road Trip.
For those attending the auction in person, you can expect a wonderful evening, with a sparkling reception and canapés.

No, but from previous trails we know that the sculpture price can range from £3k – £22K with an average price being approximately £7k.
Unless agreed in writing with you by Break, you must pay for the sculpture either on the evening you register your winning bid, or within five days of the invoice being issued to you. Payment must be in pounds sterling and may be made by electronic transfer, debit card, credit card, bankers draft or cash (up to a maximum of £5,000).
Our sculptures which are currently displayed in internal locations generally are more suited to indoor use, however the other sculptures have been treated with varnish to protect them from the elements. Over time they will need to re-done and we can recommend a suitable supplier.
