The GoGo Hares trail will run from 24th June - 8th September 2018

GoGoHares 2018

GoGoHares 2018 is presented by Break in partnership with Wild in Art.

There will be 50 city sculptures forming the main trail with a further 15 different sculptures across Norfolk in towns, villages and tourist attractions.

The trail will start on Sunday 24th June and will run to Saturday 8th September.  There will be the last chance to see all the large sculptures on 7th – 10th October, after which 50 sculptures will be auctioned off on 11th October.  The proceeds will raise valuable funds for Break.

The will also be an education programme called GoGoCreate to enable schools, nurseries and other groups to decorate their very own young hare or leveret.

The Hare has been chosen as it is a popular iconic subject for artists and can regularly be seen in the countryside of East Anglia.

Oschare

50 has been chosen as the number of city hares in recognition of Break’s 50th Anniversary in 2018.

This is the third time Break has partnered with Wild in Art to present a major public art event.

GoGoHares is brought to Norwich with the help of supporting partners Aspiration Europe, The Beeston Group, intu Chapelfield and The Norse Group.  The trail is also being supported by the EDP, Norwich Evening News and Mustard TV as media partners and Ridgeons as logistics partner and Jarrold as retail partner.
