Retail Volunteers

 

We have Break Charity Shops in Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire and the West Country where we are constantly seek new volunteers to complement those we already have.  There are a variety of roles to undertake in our shops:- customer service, window dressing, shop display, publicity, etc.  We would like to hear from volunteers in the above areas, aged 16 and over.  We can offer an induction, NVQ in retail, support and supervision and other experiences relevant to CV's.  Minimum number of hours a volunteer is required to work is 2 hours.

Volunteer Drivers

We are seeking volunteer drivers in the Wymondham and Long Stratton areas, particularly on Tuesday and Thursday daytime and some evenings.  We need individuals who are discreet and respectful of the needs of our clients, with a mature outlook and reliable approach.  We will reimburse mileage.  We offer an induction and general support from the unit manager.

Group Volunteers

We are seeking mature, reliable individuals to assist at a group in Wymondham that supports ladies with mental health issues.  Ideally we would like people who have basic music and art skills who can encourage others to join in.  You would need to be available of a Tuesday or Thursday morning or afternoon - not necessarily every week.  We offer an induction, on-going training and supervision and support from the unit manager.  The minimum number of hours required is 2 hours.

Care Support/Activities

We are seeking individuals with a range of skills such as basic cookery, household budgeting, art, music, gardening to come and volunteer and use their skills to assist our residents at our residential unit near Wymondham, where we offer support to ladies with mental health issues.  Any time offered would be wonderful, with a minimum of 2 hours at a time, once a week or as often as you are able.  We offer an induction, on-going training and support and supervision from the unit manager.

We are seeking individuals with a variety of skills and interests to support our staff in activities at our Day Centre in Sheringham which is attended by adults with learning difficulties.  You would need to be understanding of the needs of others, be patient and reliable.  If you have art, music or lifeskills, they would be most welcome.  We offer an induction, on-going training and support and supervision from the unit manager.  The minimum number of hours required is 2 hours.

Care/Support

We are seeking individuals to assist and support our staff in activities at our holiday centre in Sheringham, where people of all ages come to visit for their holidays.  Our guests have a variety of special needs and you will need to be mature, reliable and understanding to undertake this role.  We offer an induction, on-going training and supervision and support from the unit manager.  The minimum number of hours required is 5 hours.

Fundraising Volunteers

 

We are seeking outgoing individuals willing to assist at a variety of fundraising events throughout the year all over East Anglia.  Volunteers need to be reliable, trustworthy with a smart appearance (although a corporate top will be provided when necessary).  There may be some cash handling involved.  Volunteers would also need to be reasonably physically fit as there may be some lifting, helping with putting up marquees, etc.  We offer an induction, on-going training and support from the fundraising manager.
