Regular Giving
By giving a regular amount each month (it can be as little as minimum of £3 a month) you will have provided the funding towards vital respite for a family caring for a child with disabilities.
To guarantee the future stability and continuity of our vital services for those who need it most - BREAK requires the surety of a regular income. This enables us to plan for the future ensuring these families get the help they desperately need throughout their lives.
If you would like to support our work on a regular basis then there are two simple ways in which you can do this.
Regular Standing Order
By completing the standing order form, you can arrange for your agreed amount to be paid direct to BREAK on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
If you are a tax payer, complete and return the "gift aid declaration" form - this will boost your donation by an extra 28p for every £1 you give.
Give As You Earn (GAYE)
Under this scheme all you have to do is inform your employer how much you would like to give each month and check that they operate a give as you earn scheme.
The agreed amount will be deducted from your pay (before tax) and forwarded to BREAK. This means that your donation is made "Tax Free" and actually costs you less.
Here are some examples:
Monthly pledge Cost to you at 22% tax (basic rate)
£5.00 £3.90
£10.00 £7.80
£50.00 £39.00
Some companies will also match the amount you donation each month.
If your company would like to set up a GAYE scheme please contact us or check out the Give As You Earn Website.
