Rainbow Holiday and Respite Centre for Children and Aduilts with Learning Disabilities
Rainbow is a large three storey Edwardian house situated in the picturesque seaside town of Sheringham on the North Norfolk Coast.
At Rainbow we cater for individuals with high, medium and low care needs and associated challenging behaviours.
These holidays not only provide a memorable time for the guests but also provide a much needed break for their families and carers.
The house has 10 comfortable single rooms, each with washing facilities and TV/DVD players, with access to freeview, for guests to enjoy time by themselves. There is also a large television lounge with comfortable seating, an activities room with television, touch screen computers, laptops, a music centre and a sensory room and soft play room.
We have a full range of manual handling equipment and there is a lift giving full access to the first floor.
24 hour care is provided by a fully qualified staff team offering an individualised package of care.
A wide variety of foods for specialised diets is available.
Please note that it may not be possible to accommodate more than three wheelchair users per week, so please contact for availability.
Assessments are made via the application and protocol form as to whether needs of the guest are high medium or low. Break pays half the cost of a week's stay at Rainbow.
