Ashcroft Residential Unit
This residential unit offers women with mental health needs respite care or short-to-medium term placements in a positive, therapeutic environment. Women are helped to cope with and recover from periods of mental distress so that they can move on and live more independently in the community.
Based in Wicklewood, just outside Wymondham in South Norfolk, this centre offers focused short term placements (usually 3-12 months) and respite care breaks (usually 2-3 days or a week) for up to ten women at any one time. Each service user has a keyworker and an individually tailored plan, to support recovery, develop life skills and maximise strengths and independence.
