Learning & Development
Learning and Development is at the heart of Break Charity and from the Founders to the present day Break has prioritised staff development across the organisation. The Learning and Development team is run by Rachel Cowdry (MA/DipSW, EDSM), a qualified Social Worker with nearly 20 years experience in the care sector.
Break has developed a Training Programme for care staff for both internal and external candidates ranging from Mandatory training (which covers the training required by the National Minimum Standards) to more advanced, in depth training for experienced and more senior staff. Break also delivers Leadership and Management Training that has been devised to enhance the performance of managers in today’s increasingly complex workplace settings.

Organisations are able to book individual places onto our current training programme or we can deliver the training in-house to whole staff groups/teams.
