Embrace

Supporting Young Parents

Break has taken the Norfolk charity, Embrace www.embrace-supportingyoungparents.org.uk, into its portfolio of care services for vulnerable adults, children and families.  Embrace provides support to pregnant teenagers and teenage parents, and fits well into Break’s service parameters, giving it another valuable care opportunity.

Project workers from Embrace have the expertise and experience to provide a complete range of support.  Working from Norwich and Kings Lynn they visit pregnant teenagers and teenage parents at home and offer them a range of practical help and support based on individual needs, which could include:

  Help with budgeting, dealing with debt and claiming benefits

  Help with accessing other agencies;

  Support for completing forms, writing letters or making telephone calls;

  Advice on education, employment and childcare;

  Linking with other groups, such as young parents’ groups

  Support with parenting

The aim is to help young parents achieve what they want from life. For more  information about Embrace, click on the link above.
