Retail volunteering

We welcome people with a variety of skills. Our Volunteers give anything from a couple of hours to two – three days per week; it is entirely up to you. We want you to enjoy helping out at a Break Shop as part of the team and would welcome any time you can give.

Some of the tasks you may undertake could include:

  Helping and serving customers
  Sorting stock
  Steaming items ready for sale
  Till work
  Window Dressing

Working in a Break Shop is not just about doing the jobs there are to do. It's about meeting people, gaining friends and working as part of a team to raise funds in order to help more people with complex care needs and their carers.

If you have spare time and are looking for something really worthwhile, why not become a volunteer? Contact Kerry on 01263 820722 or email: kerry.b@break-charity.org

Alternatively, you can pop into your local shop where the Manager will be only too happy to show you round and complete an application form with you there and then.
