For some months Break has been working with students studying on the BA Animation degree course at Norwich University College of the Arts (NUCA), on a ‘special project’ due to be launched in Spring 2012.

36 students submitted ideas for the project from a brief supplied by Break and third year student Andrew Jackson’s idea was chosen.  His submission formed part of his course work and will count towards his degree as well as being a pivotal part of our project.

Liz Richards, Senior Communications Officer said, “We approached MH Agency, and were delighted to receive confirmation that Daniel would be happy to be involved in the project and do some recording for us.  We then worked with Earache Voices and The Sound Company studios in London, who donated studio time and an experienced engineer.”

Andrew and fellow student Simrat Bhachu, who assisted Andrew on the project, attended the recording session with Liz and Sarah Bunn from Break.  Daniel came straight from school with his Mum, Judy and did a fantastic job for us.  Sound engineer, Chris Renshaw made sure that we came away with great sound and even took time to show us around the rest of the studios.

“We don’t know how we are ever going to thank all these wonderful people for supporting our project”, said Liz.  “The staff and students at NUCA have been great fun to work with and so professional.  Both agencies have bent over backwards to help us.  A special thank you to Geoff Oliver, MD of The Sound Company for donating the studio time and Chris to us.  And finally to Daniel for rushing straight from school to record the voiceover and support our project.  I’m afraid you will have to wait until next Spring to see what we have been up to over the past months, but I can assure you it will be worth the wait!”
