Leave a Long Lasting Legacy

Spring-clean your wishes!

Snowdrops and crocuses, daffodils and lambs – spring has sprung! With new life everywhere, it’s a time that we often feel more motivated to do the things we’ve put off during the dark winter days. Perhaps one of those jobs
is reviewing your Will? Did you know that it’s something we should all do every five years or so? Why? Well,
we all need to make sure that our final wishes reflect changes within our families such as marriages, new children or grand-children, deaths and divorces. It’s all too easy to overlook the fact that something in your Will might need amending – sometimes, sadly we need to remove a friend or relative who has passed away before us, or maybe add someone new who has joined your family!

Many people updating a Will also take the opportunity to include a gift to a charity, too. We are indebted to the memory of the following people who left wonderful gifts to Break, to help us continue our work for the many vulnerable children and families who need us:

• Mr Ronald Richard Buckner                    • Mrs Phyllis Lawson

Although we are not able to thank these people personally, we extend our grateful thanks to their Executors, families and friends, and hope that they are comforted by the thought that their relative’s or friend’s gift will make a difference to many vulnerable people.

If you would like to find out more about the benefits of leaving a gift in your Will to Break, please contact Molly Housego, Legacy Officer, on 01603 670104 or email molly.h@break-charity.org for our Legacy Leaflet. All enquiries are strictly confidential.
