All about Caring
Welcome to the Break website!
We hope you enjoy finding out more about Break and how you can help support us!
We are still in the process of adding some information on to this new site, but we are always able to help you if you contact us directly.
Break Charity has been supporting children, adults and families with specific care needs since 1968.
Our range of services include supported holidays, short breaks, respite care and day care support for people with learning disabilities; self catering holiday chalets, homes for children, care and rehabilitation services for women with mental health needs and assessments for families in crisis.
Childhoods for Children Appeal – At Break’s Family Assessment Centre we give parents a second chance; a second chance to prove they can care for their children and a second chance to give their children the childhood they deserve. We always have a waiting list for this vital service and now need to provide additional accommodation to help more parents and their children stay together. We need to raise £120,000. Will you help us by giving as much or as little as you can? The Ashcroft Project – Break takes over The Ashcroft Project - a range of services for women with mental health needs
